Eligibility: Students in 9th through 12th grade attending public, charter, private or home school. 2 Categories: (A) Traditional Fine Art created only by hand. (B) Digital Art utilizing any component that is digitally produced. Instructions: Create a 12” x 18”, single-sided poster to convey the theme of how the rail project helps to connect our communities. On the back of the poster, print your name, grade, school and category. Ensure that an Entry Form is attached to your poster prior to submission. See Contest Rules for further details, available on our website www.HonoluluTransit.org. How to submit: Posters may be mailed or delivered to HART’s office by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2017. Awards: Winners will be announced in May and entries displayed in Kapolei Hale during the summer. Judges will award prizes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each category. In addition to receiving an award certificate and prizes, winners may bring a parent and teacher to a guided tour of HART’s Rail Operation Center.
