Foundational Information Exchange Service Implementation Specifications
§ SWIM Service Description§ Requirements for the minimum set of information elements to be contained by a service
description. § ‘what a service does’, ‘how a service works’, ‘how to access a service’ and other information for
consuming a service
§ SWIM Information Definition§ Requirements for defining the exchanged information conform the semantics of the ATM
Information Reference Model (AIRM)§ The formal description of the information that is being exchanged § Examples of information definitions are: standardised information exchange models and data catalogues
used to list details on the information that is exchanged
§ SWIM Technical Infrastructure Yellow Profile:§ Requirements for the information technology (IT) infrastructure necessary for ensuring technical
interoperability§ Specification of system interfaces, including the protocols for exchanging information§ Specification of technical infrastructure capabilities, including functional and non-functional capabilities.
