After six years together, Pamela Lynn Farmerand Beverly Ann Benson are happy to be

legally married on 08 August 2008.TheHonorable MarshaThomas, a Utah District

Judge and close friend of the couple willperform the ceremony at their home

in San Francisco.Dr. Farmer, 50, is a Drug Safety Scientist at

Genentech, Inc. in South San Francisco. Shegraduated from the University of NorthCarolina, received her M.D. from EastCarolina University and did her familymedicine residency at Duke University.

Dr. Benson, 47, is a Clinical Scientist at JazzPharmaceuticals in Palo Alto, Ca. She

graduated from the University of Oklahoma,received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology and

Toxicology at the University of Kansas anddid her post-doctoral studies at the

Huntsman Cancer Center at theUniversity of Utah.

The couple’s mothers, Ruth Farmer of NorthMyrtle Beach, SC and Barbara Benson of

Sturgeon Bay, WI will attend the ceremonyalong with close family and friends.

Their dear friends Ginger Elliot and Cathy Jones

participated in the ceremony.

Chad and Devin were married at City Hall.

Most importantly for the couple, on June 2nd, 2001,

they were married in a private ceremony

aboard the Schooner Kaiulani on the San Francisco Bay.

Therefore, June 2nd will always serve

as the couple’s true anniversary date

since 1977 and is a BusinessConsulting Specialist with a major

health management nonprofit. She is thedaughter of the late Marshall Harris and

Dorothy Harris of Hamden, Connecticut.Ms. Reuscher moved to California in

1985 from Connecticut where she taughtfor twenty years. In California, she waspartner in a high-tech public relationsfirm and is now retired and writing.

She is the daughter of the lateWilliam Reuscher and Beatrice Reuscher

of Hamden, Connecticut.The couple met in 1967. They partnered

in 1991 and were among the original4,000 couples married in

San Francisco in 2004. They considertheir legal marriage, and the marriage of

all LGBT couples, to be an historicoccasion which finally acknowledges the

civil rights of all Californians.

Wen Minkoff and Tara Walsh of Oakland, CA were marriedJune 17th at San Francisco City Hall. The couple met

at a dance class in 2004 and celebrated theirengagement two years later. Wen and Tara first

exchanged vows last November during an intimateceremony in Hawaii, but the couple was overjoyed onTuesday, when a civil ceremony finally granted them

full legal recognition as spouses.

Tara, a Chiropractor in Pleasanton, and Wen, acopywriter in San Francisco, share a home with theirfeline companion Rosie. Tara is the daughter of GaryBorden and Deborah McKinney of Ripon, CA. Wen’s

parents, Harvey and Penny Minkoff, reside inBradenton, FL.
