NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Notice is hereby given to all interested members of the public that the Board of Commissionersof the captioned district will hold a public meeting by telephone conference call. Members of thepublic may access the meeting by following the instructions listed at the end of this notice.

The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

The subject of the meeting is to consider and act on the following:

The Board of Commissioners ("Board") of Harris County Emergency ServicesDistrict No. 12 ("District") met December 1, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. by telephone conference call, inaccordance with the duly posted notice of the meeting, with a quorum present, as follows:

William B. Anders, PresidentLarry Helgesen, SecretaryFrank Staley, TreasurerBryan Clements, Assistant Secretary/Assistant Treasurer

And the following absent:

David W. Proctor, Vice President.

Also present were Mr. Bob Ideus, Chief Ed Russell, and Mr. Wm. Scott Smith.

The meeting was called to order and declared open for such business as mightregularly come before it.

1. Commissioner Anders presented the invocation.

2. The Board opened the floor for public comment. No public comment waspresented.

3. The Board reviewed the minutes of the November 17, 2020 meeting.Subject to one correction regarding the vehicle accident, the Board unanimously approved theminutes.

4. Chief Russell presented the fire chief’s report. The department is still operatingunder COVID-19 protocols. There was one on-the-job injury of an employee. Reserve Engine24 is out of service for 90 to 120 days due to repairs. Engine 14 is out of service with enginerepairs. Engine 24 had its brakes repaired and is also scheduled for warranty work after Engine14 returns to service.

5. The Board reviewed the tax assessor-collector’s report and noted the taxbills have just been mailed, and there are no significant collections at this point.

6. Mr. Ideus presented the bookkeeper’s report. Upon motion duly made,seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the bookkeeper’s report and the checkslisted thereon.

7. Mr. Smith noted that offer letters had been mailed to property owners butno response has been received yet.
