TIPS FOR GROWING ROSES

A rose should be planted in a well-aerated, sunny location that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight each day.

Roses can be fertilized on a monthly basis until early August and watered once per week, preferably in the morning.

Watering roses at soil level, under the foliage, re-duces leaf wetness and limits disease development.

Removal of spent flowers and fruit will promote the development of new rose buds.
