Smithfield Town Hall will be closed Friday, January1, 2021 and will reopen Monday, January 4, 2021.
During this time the following utility payment optionsare still available:
Pay online at www.smithfield-nc.com. Clickon the “Pay Utility” icon on the homepage.Call 1-855-603-9197 (debit/credit only).Place your payment in one of the two dropboxes outside, either the drop box attached to the building OR in the parkinglot. For cash payments, we ask that you please use the drop box attached tothe building.
The Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics Center will close early on Thursday,December 31 at 5 p.m. and be closed on Friday, January 1, 2021. They will reopen at8 a.m. on Saturday, January 2nd.
Visit Johnston County HeritageCenter by Appointment Only
Effective immediately, the Johnston County HeritageCenter will be allowing visitors by appointment only. To
gain entry to see our World War II exhibit, browse the giftshop, or do research in our 3rd floor Reading Room, it isrecommended that you call 919-934-2836 or send anemail to [email protected].
The Heritage Center continues to require that masks beworn at all times inside the building and that gloves beworn while handling collection materials.
COVID-19 Testing/Flu Shots
First Presbyterian Church, located at 215 South3rd Street in Smithfield, will host mobile COVID-19 testing and flu shots (flu shots for those over19 years of age) TODAY (ThursdayDecember 31) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Smithfield Progressive Men’s Club, locatedat 1208 Goldsboro Road, is also holdingCOVID-19 testing on the following dates:
Tuesday, January 5, 2021 11am-7pm Saturday, January 9, 2021 10am-6pm Tuesday, January 12, 2021 11am-7pm Saturday, January 16, 2021 10am-6pm Tuesday, January 19, 2021 11am-7pm Saturday, January 23, 2021 10am-6pm Tuesday, January 26, 2021 11am-7pm Saturday, January 30, 2021 10am-6pm
