KEEP YOUR DISTANCE Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. (Exodus 20:12 KJV) Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. (Proverbs 31:10-11 KJV) Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. (John 19:27 KJV) Mother’s Day is an official holiday of our Church. As we pause to honor all of our mothers, we want to turn aside for the Mother of the New Covenant Church, Sister Lisa M. Willis. She has been a mother of mothers and fathers alike and the wife helpmate to our pastor. She works tirelessly loving her husband, miracle children, grandchildren, and New Covenant Church family. Using her God given mother wit, smiles and understanding of what the head minister desires for the saints, she refers saints to the pastor and counsels the saints as a mother. We thank the Lord for her and all the Mothers in our congregation. We are so blessed.
