It is written in the Holy Bible that there is great joy in heaven according to the

words of Jesus, when? In the first part of the verse in Luke 15:7 “I tell you that in

the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents..” Family, friends, let us rejoice here and

now in his salvation and cause the angels in heaven to rejoice as God can changes

GOOD NEWS!It is written in the gospel of Jesus Christ

according to Luke in, Luke 15:1-2 Now the tax collectors and sinners were all

gathering around to hear Jesus. “But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners

and eats with them.” To mutter, or some bible translations read to grumble,

this means- to utter words indistinctly or in a low tone, often as if talking to

oneself; murmur. Unfortunately on this occasion according to Luke he identified two types of peoples that were caught up

in their religious life style and missed salvation, Christ Jesus. Their is only one way for eternal salvation of your soul,

Jesus Christ said in his gospel according to John 14:6 “Jesus answered, “I am the way

and the truth and the life, no comes to the Father except through me.” Now stay

with me as we learn about his eternal good news.

In these biblical times tax collectors and sinners, were also known as publi-

cans, generally described as being greedy and taking more money than they were entitled to. The tax collectors, they

stuck out as a lost group of people, they were hated because of their cheating ways of taking more money that they

were entitled to, but do not miss this, ‘and sinners’. Sin, is sin, no matter how big or how small, sin is sin, it reads in Romans

6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. We have all been given a

choice, we can remain lost in sin, mut-ter like the Pharisees and the teachers

of the law, and receive the wages sin death, or receive the gift of God. Family,

friends, are you welcoming sinners, or being religious? I have decided I will un-

Nothing can stop the force of mighty

rushing water. Three or four feet of water can pick up a car that weighs thousands of pounds and move it all around. You’ve prob-ably seen news reports where whole houses

are being swept away during a huge flood or cities in a tidal wave.

In the same way, you may have obstacles that look insurmountable; dreams that look un-attainable, but let me encourage you: when God releases a flood of His power, nothing will be able to stop you. That sickness may

look big, but when God releases a flood of healing, it doesn’t stand a chance. Your

opposition may be stronger, better financed and better equipped; but when God opens up the floodgates, they’ll be no match for you.

You may not have the connections or re-sources you need, but when God releases a

flood of favor, people will come out of the woodwork to help you out. Good breaks, op-portunity, the right people will search you out. You need to get ready not for a trickle,

not a stream, not a river, but a flood of God’s favor, a tidal wave of God’s goodness, a tsunami of His increase is coming your way!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY Father, thank You for Your mighty power at

work in my life. I believe that Your flood-gates are open, and a flood of Your good-ness is wiping out my enemies and clearing

the way for victory in every area of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

believe that wasn’t just a statement of fact, it was a statement of faith. Jesus was saying to His Father, “I’ve done My

part. I’ve fulfilled My destiny. Now I’ve got total trust and confidence in You that You are going to finish what You started.” Even though it looked

like the end, in reality, it was only the beginning.

When it looks dark in your own life, when things aren’t going your way, dare to make that declaration of faith just like Jesus, “It is finished.” What you’re really saying is, “God, I know You are going to turn this situation around. I know You are going to heal my body. I

know You are going to restore my fam-ily. I know You are going to give me the

breaks that I need. I’ve done my part, and I know You will do Yours.” Always remember to speak victory over your circumstances because He is faithful,

and He will complete what He’s started in you.

Every year all over the world, people honor Good Friday as the day Jesus was crucified. It was

the darkest, most painful, discouraging day of His life. To others, it looked as if it was over. It looked as if His enemies had gotten the best of

Him. But God had other plans. Jesus’ enemies put Him in the grave on Friday, celebrating their vic-

tory, but Sunday morning was a different story. The grave could not hold Him. Death couldn’t contain Him. The forces of darkness couldn’t

stop Him. On the third day, Jesus came out of the grave and said, “I was dead, but now I am alive

forevermore.”

One principle that the resurrection teaches us is that God will always finish what He started. No matter how dark it looks, no matter how long it’s been, no matter how many people are trying to push you down; if you will stay in faith, God will always take you from Friday to Sunday. You will see your day of breakthrough because God

will complete what He started.

If you are going through a dark time today, re-member that your day of resurrection, your “Sun-day,” is on the way! Keep standing, keep believing

because soon you will rise up and embrace the victory He has in store for you!
