14-November Excited, colourful and chirpy students marked the assembly on 14 th November. Special invitees were students from Swami Vivekananda Gurukul of Human Excellence from Zaheerabad accompanied by their correspondent Shri Ujwal who spent the morning joyfully with our students. They were the happy recipients of our students’ generous contribution of the Joy of Giving week. The contribution is very much needed and essential for the 85 semi orphans residing in the Gurukul. In the cultural program that followed, students from the Gurukul presented a prayer to honour Swami Vivekanada, followed by a tribute to our nation with a beautiful dance medley of patriotic songs. The Gurukul students displayed their talents in mind management games like solving the rubics cube, Gita chanting. The presentation was very well appreciated by our students. The students were in a treat by their teachers. The cultural fiesta included prayer song, Speech on Jawaharlal Nehru & the importance of children’s day, dance, drama, medley, Ramp walk, lazy dance, antakshari. The program was designed, choreographed & executed by the teachers themselves. The students thoroughly enjoyed the cultural fiesta by their teachers. On the occasion of Children’s Day, let us all reiterate Shri Jawaharlal Nehru, our first PM by remembering his message and following it. “The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up, will determine the future of the country.” Let us remember their lines and celebrate the spirit of the erstwhile leader. HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY
