The happy athlete, meaning the competitive sportsman, who is feeling amazingly well, is in this case the horse. Our happy athlete jumps fences and is able to assess exactly how many galloping steps and jumps he needs to clear the last, all-deciding oxer. He can take his own weight and that of the rider on his hindquarters and demonstrate a breathtaking piaffe. He has the endurance to cover the energy- draining kilometers of a long distance race. How is he able to do that? Because he is healthy and, moreover, he is feeling well. He is mentally and physically capable of delivering the performance expected of him. That gives him a feeling of contentment and – happiness. Health, well-being, contentment ensue when everything is in balance. Balance – that means that all energy levels are exactly as they should be. Not only the physical and the mental ones, but also energies present in the immediate environment.

The effects of the Equusir Scan and Therapy Horsebox is geared toward the horse’s physical and mental energy flows. The scientific and veterinary background of its light-therapy application equalizes energetic differences, relaxes strained tissue, muscles, organs, internal systems, and the horse’s mental state. Use of the Equusir Scan and Therapy Horsebox supports and complements the treatment of the horse’s back, tendon and ligament problems. This gives the happy athlete a chance to relax and ultimately improve on more than just one level. Success factors in equestrian sports are manifold. First class care, excellent veterinary treatment, top training, and strong nerves in competitions.

The Equusir Scan and Therapy Horsebox is the missing link that connects science and horsemanship to a synergetic unit.

He is now almost 20, but one can still tell that he is a sports horse, without any ifs or buts. He is a powerhouse, but also sensitive and capable of delivering all his skills when and where they are needed. Being the fighter that he is, he was never particularly prone to injury or visibly sensitive to pain. After a few years in the limelight, he started to develop hoof-joint problems. He no longer moved as lightly and naturally on the new soft grounds as he used to. A set of measures consisting of Equusir-Box-therapy and a different type of shoeing eliminated the problems, allowing him to remain active in sports for another four years.

This mare has everything a good jumper needs. Jumping abilities, the big picture, and attitude. And she knows when to really fire off. Of course, she also has everything that mares are known for. Such as unreliable behavior due to hormonal fluctuations. But also that they are very sensitive and affectionate and give everything for their horseman. Roxette has indeed hormonal fluctuations beyond the normal range and is also somewhat prone to panic, especially, in confined spaces. Loading up and standing in the trailer may well turn into a problem. This condition was further exacerbated by a tendon injury which can only be healed by keeping movements to a minimum, controlled and calm. In the Horsebox, she was treated with red, green and indigo-colored light with excellent success. Roxette is much more content, and the injury healed completely. Now, she is nothing but graceful, sensitive, and affectionate. Panic? That was yesterday!

Despite her young age of six years, the mare has been through a lot already. She had a serious injury in the knee area. The ligaments were affected. The severe scar on her hindquarters got inflamed again and again. This mare has a nervous disposition. Permanent pain and therapeutic applications are not particularly suited to strengthen the trust between horse and human. In the horsebox, where no painful treatment is administered whatsoever, no needle pricks and where there is no pulling here and there, the mare calmed down. She was treated with orange, violet, and white light. Quantana has become much calmer. The inflammations in the scar tissue have completely disappeared. The light therapy is an especially beneficial therapy for Quantana‘s nervous disposition.

This six-year-old gelding is so much fun! As a youngster he is as fresh as youngsters should be at his age. Maybe even a bit fresher. But he is astonishingly rideable and willing to perform. However, he likes to tense up and use the rider’s hand as support. Especially on the left, which is probably the result of the congenital obliqueness every horse has. Naturally, during training, we work on straightening, loosening the horse and have the horse support itself. In 2013, he started to suffer from a severe skin rash triggered by a fungal infection. Later on, he also sustained an injury of the deep flexor tendon and suspensory ligament. The standing times during convalescence associated with it caused, of course, additional stiffness. Melbourne received intensive care through the horsebox with a frequency of three times per week. Since February 2014 he is back in training and demonstrates, besides an overall improvement, that he has become better at carrying a load and that his rideability has markedly increased. There are still visible traces of the skin rash, but the inflamed spots have all healed.

This old hand is almost 20. Stockinger is the perfect example of a reliable horse. But he can also be quite stubborn and ignore his rider, if he just doesn‘t feel like it. Stockinger is also developing a few old men‘s health problems. His metabolism no longer works quite as well. His coat is dull. In the Horsebox, he was treated with red, green, and violet light. He is more content, less grumpy and therefore more rideable and runs nice even rounds on the course.

The seven-year-old mare is a one person horse. She is ambitious and courageous, but also sensitive, and sensitive to noise. If she gets stressed, attack is the best means of defense for her. Of course, this results in rough and bumpy rounds around the course and leads to knock-downs that are entirely unnecessary. Her digestion is also a little irritable. She is prone to diarrhea. The goal of a therapy in the horsebox was primarily stress reduction. From February to April 2014, she had a busy schedule. But already in April, Eskada appeared much calmer. The digestive problems have also stabilized.

The eleven-year-old gelding has always needed a lot of support. He has recurring concentration problems, is prone to allergies, has digestive problems and has already suffered several bouts of colic. In addition, he suffered two falls in 2013. The standing times during rehabilitation weakened the musculature. In February 2014, he was taken into the Equusir-BEST-Box. He was treated with yellow, green, and orange light. The result was amazing. L’Emporio is rested, outright exuberant and presents himself strong and efficient in jumping and proves that he has got what it takes – the heart of a lion.

The twelve-year-old gelding is in his best competition years. He is, like all competitive sportsmen, an individualist. His special feature? He is very sensitive and very unforgiving. Once unjustly scolded, he takes his time until he decides to be cooperative again. Due to the anatomic angle of the hindquarters, he struggles to carry loads, but is astonishingly effective on the course. Skin fungi are a recurring problem for him. Through the therapy in the Horsebox with a light combination consisting of yellow, green, and orange, all fungus has disappeared. We hope that Lancasto will also remember the good!

This gelding is imposing! He can boast of big successes and is a true champion. He appears self-confident and possessive. However, upon closer acquaintance, one learns that he needs a lot of encouragement and moral support. If something is wrong, he reacts with apathy, withdraws, and becomes depressed. In August 2013, he needed crucial ligament surgery. Pain and rehabilitation resulted, of course, in a loss of muscle mass and severe muscle tensions. This horse, only six years old, was in urgent need of holistic energetic support. In February 2014, he was released for work again. He appeared refreshed and eager to move. The muscle build-up is making good progress. For such a sensitive sports horse as Colmar, the Equusir-BEST-Horsebox has been a true blessing.

This six-year-old horse is a text-book-Youngster. Eager to work and learn, rideable, confident. His muscle build-up cannot quite keep pace with him. He often reminds us of the young, lanky lads, whose arms and legs seem to grow faster than the rest of their bodies. In 2014, Casanova suffered a jaw fracture that required surgical repair. On top of that, he also sustained a tendon injury. We supported him with indigo, green, and yellow-colored light in the Equusir-BEST-Horsebox. Everything has healed really well. Casanova receives maintenance therapy three times a week with seven different light colors.

The eight-year-old stallion comes in a size X-large, but yet everyone calls him Baby. He is calm, but sensitive and cooperates with every rider who does not bother him too much. However, if he feels that too much is expected of him, his performance is severely reduced. From a purely physical point of view, he is thrown a little off balance when strained over a longer period. A problem that originates from the hindquarters. We wanted to eliminate this performance obstacle to Carano and have been giving him the therapeutic benefit of the Horsebox since February 2014. Green, yellow, and violet light contributed to the muscle build-up. Carano is visibly and perceptibly much more balanced.

The eleven-year-old gelding is a committed jumper. He is also sensitive and cooperative. But he does have a problem with confidence. With a lack of confidence in himself and, in stress situations, also in the rider. In these cases, he sees flight as his only option. Frequently, he is too rushed on the course. Tensions in the forehand and shoulder confirm this impression. Physical therapy in addition to the horsebox treatment as well as a special food supplement turned Axel into a calmer horse. His motion sequence is more regular which facilitates a consistent muscle build-up. Long-term maintenance therapy resulted in Axel‘s overall improvement. He feels more at ease with his rider. And the rider with him!

The eight-year-old stallion is all one could wish for in a jumper. Calm, unfazed, and a fighter. However, this go-getter on the course also has a few weak spots that need strengthening so that the determined competitor also turns into a winner. Soft ligaments, for example, especially slow muscle build-up. The softness also extends to his hoofs. Persistent thrush, strong tendency toward developing mallenders are causing recurring training restrictions. After an intensive treatment in the Horsebox, Sol Campbell has noticeably more power, improved rideability and - the daily messing around with all kinds of substances in the hoof frog has become superfluous. The thrush is gone. We will continue with the maintenance therapy in the Horsebox in any case.

He was a promising sports horse. His fate, however, prevented a career on the course. During a period of unclear ownership rights he did not receive the necessary attention and medical care. His conditions were so serious that they considered putting him to sleep. He was hardly able to walk, not to mention being ridden. In addition, he was just skin and bones and presented a picture of misery. For Animo, the treatment with the Equusir-BEST-Box marked a turning point. An intensive treatment, followed by maintenance therapy alleviated the pain and stabilized the gait pattern. He gained weight, and his zest for life returned. Animo is able to move normally again, can be carefully ridden and has very good prospects of more good horse years.
