To radio:

The quality of YO-MARC member can be requested by any licensed

amateur radio or SWL, from all over the world, who works or worked in the one of

the following activities:

avy (ships, military units, departments, schools, etc.);

coast radio stations;

other activities related with the marine.

Granting of the membership award of the YO-MARC confirms the

membership. The subscription is 20 new IRC's in the first year and 15 IRC's (or

USD 15 respectively USD 10) each next year.

The YO-MARC members can write on the QSL's or on their radio

correspondence the member registration number and the club mark.

The club members are invited to participate at all meetings,

and all contests organized by YO-MARC or similar marine club from other

countries.

For radio contacts with club members, maritime mobile stations and with

members of other naval clubs YO MARC issuing different awards.

The fee of each award is 10 IRC's. The list of club members and awards

will be subsequently communicated (see http://yo-marc.s5.com).

The sponsors or donations from club members or other persons and

organizations are welcomed and of real use in club activity. The donations will be

mentioned in amateur magazine of Romanian Amateur Radio Federation.

Coordination of the club's activity is carried out by the following persons:

- Dear Marin, attached pls find my Naval Contest Log in Excel. High

frequencies were not good from northern DL. Med countries and OH were able

to work british station on 20 m. In northern DL QSA 0. 10 m dead completely.

These points I will miss. For you, your fellows from YO MARC mni tnx for the

work you will do. To you and your families again Merry Christmas, a Happy

New Year and best wishes for 2005!

- Really, my 1-st contest in CW, great thanks all Op's for QRS and ufb sigs,

CU in 2005!

- The above text and score was accumulated with the use of my Kenwood

TS850S transceiver running 100 watts into my 80 mtr horizontal doublet, 17ft

above ground at the feed point and my 45 year old “Z” MATCH and all the good

will of 50 years in amateur radio. My sincere best wishes go to the adjudicators

and all those responsible for this super contest!

- Always an interesting contest but too near Christmas with family get

together's to allocate full time to. Conditions were not the best either

especially HF!

- Thank you for organising the event this year which I enjoyed very much.

Good luck in 2005 hope to hear you again soon!

- Bands very noisy. Not many RNARS members heard. Enjoyed the

contest, look forward to next one!

- Very 73 and happy new year to all participants!

- Unable to devote more time to the Contest! But conditions were good even

with other contests running in parallel. I heard RZ6HN running “noval”

contest on 40m band! I asked “pse, cfm naval test”! “Sri” he said, “hr noval

test”! Hi!!!!

- I enjoyed the contest and QSO's with excellent operators. Thanks!

- Good fun, but poor condx!

- On the Int. Naval Contest I have a small radio set (FT-817, 3watts and a

whip antenna on the balcony). But it was very great fun to work as QRP-

station 17 naval stations. I wish you, your family and your naval club members

all the best in 2005 and say thank you very much for your job in the

International Naval Contest!

This award (full color) is issued by Romanian Marine Amateur Radio Club

(YO MARC) and in his border is included the flags from International Code used on

maritime ships for to send the messages.

The Flags Award to both, licensed radio amateurs and SWL's for QSO's

after 1-st June 1991 with the members stations of YO-MARC and/or with another

stations, members of another International Naval Society, for example:

MF-RUNDE, INORC, RNARS, MARAC, ANARS, FNARS, BMARS,

OEMF-RUNDE, SOWPI.

The award is attribute for distinct bands and modes or multi bands and

mixed mode for 50 points.

The score QSO's:

QSO with a "flag" station = 10 points.

QSO with a YO-MARC member = 5 points.

QSO with a member station of MF-RUNDE, INORC, RNARS, MARAC,

ANARS, FNARS, BMARS, OEMF-RUNDE, SOWPI, etc = 1 point.

The QSO via satellite, repeater or in digital modes is accepted.
