The Poolville Country Store Restaurant and Bed & Breakfast is fi ne dining and lodging in the most unexpected of places. It has been successfully operated since May 2006 by owners and chefs, Roger Foster, originally from Earlville, NY and a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, and Charles Wilburn, originally from Mexico, NY and a graduate of Johnson & Wales University. Both are involved in the development of the “worldly” infl uenced American cuisine.

The menu includes all natural locally raised beef, pork and poultry. They utilize three different seafood purveyors which deliver only wild-caught sustainable fi sh and seafood within 24 hours from the dock to their door. The menu is further enhanced with fresh produce grown by Mr. Foster himself, including black raspberries, blueberries, pears, apples and lettuces, to mention just a few. They also supply their own eggs and supple-ment the menu with chicken grown and processed by their own hands. Everything on the menu is made on premise and from scratch including breads, pastries, ice creams and sorbets in fl avors not found elsewhere like kiwi, elderberry, rhubarb and watermelon.Overnight accommodations are available in both the private cottage and the gazebo house. The Poolville Country Store is available for large parties such as weddings in their back yard or more intimate parties in the private dining room on the second fl oor of the main building.

Dinner is served Wednesday through Sunday beginning at 5pm and they also serve an ála carte brunch on Sunday from 10:30am till 1pm.
