This range of 12 volt MR16 lamps features a halogen burner positionedin a glass reflector which has a high quality dichroic coating. This coating consists of several layers of interference film that absorb UV and infra red radiation and reflect light. The coating also controls the colour of the light and keeps the light output consistent over the life of the lamp

Low Voltage Halogen Dichroic Lamps – Xenon MR16 X-Lamps

Crompton’s MR16 X-lamps contain a mixture of Xenon and halogengas in their low voltage burner, substantially reducing the cost of lamp maintenance. The Xenon gas also aids in running the lamps at a cooler temperature compared to standard halogen dichroic lamps and provides a crisp, white light. The high quality reflector in these lamps is composed of 27 coatingsof interference film that absorbs UV and infra red radiation and reflects light. This dichroic coating also controls the colour of the light and keeps the light output consistent over the life of the lamp

Halu-R display lamps are low voltage halogen reflector lamps featuringan aluminium reflector which distributes light and heat forward awayfrom the back of the lamp. Usage Notes•The lamp may be electrically connected in three ways:•Through insertion in a dedicated G53 lamp holder•By eyelet wire terminals matching the M4 screw terminals on the lamp•By receptacle wire terminals matching the tabs on the lamp
