HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Bocce Ball in the Park Thursday, July 2 at 2:15pm: Meet in Town Square

To switch it up, we will be playing bocce ball outside near the ball diamonds in Elwood Park. I will be bringing out chairs for you to sit in. If

you have a walker that’s comfortable to sit on, please bring it with you. We will meet in the Square and head out to the Park together. If the weather is

poor we will play in the Town Square.

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS JULY

Jasmine Gardens Takeout Thursday, July 16 around 12 noon

I will be placing a takeout order from Jasmine Gardens (Chinese Food) for up to 16 people. All meals are $10.50 and include taxes and delivery.

Please take a look at the lunch specials menu at Concierge and place order at the front desk. To place your order you must include payment in cash.

Deadline for orders is 11am on Tuesday, July 14. Late orders will not be accepted as we need to order in advance. Payment is refundable up until

this time. Once the order is placed, meals are non-refundable. Emily will deliver your food to your suite once it arrives here.

Resident Community Discussion Monday, July 27, Details To Be Announced

We hope to resume Resident Community Discussion this month, but we need to wait and see how things unfolds. Please look for information closer to the date in elevators and on bulletin board.

Should we resume for July, please be mindful of elevators and crowding. Keeping social distance is important and we need to

maintain it for the health of our community. We are grateful for all of your efforts during this time. Sincere thanks from all of us here at

Hallmark as we navigate these unusual times!

Bunker Bingo New Game Starts Each Monday

This month we will be playing bingo from the comforts of home. You can pick up your Bingo card on Monday from Concierge. Tape

it to your door or put it on your fridge, keep it handy and DON’T throw it away. You’ll be keeping the card for the entire week until there is a winner. New numbers will be posted each day on the

cork board outside Emily’s office door. Be sure to check daily for new numbers. If you have a number that was posted, mark it off on

your card. Bingo games will be different each week. See board for the details.

Winners will be posted on the cork board by the Bingo numbers! Thank you Dolores for leading us in this weekly game.

Gospel Music with Len Kliewer Friday, July 17 at 2:00pm in Backyard

Those of you who have patios facing the lake you can enjoy music from your deck. For all others, find a space on the back deck to enjoy as Len

Kliewer brings us some gospel music. Emily will be serving ice cream floats from 2:20-2:45 so come to the Cafe to

pick one up to enjoy during the music.
