GENERAL OBSTETRIC SERVICESHaving a baby can be one of the most exciting times in a woman’s life. Our health care team is here to guide you every step of the way, with regularly scheduled office visits and a wealth of information for the smoothest pregnancy and delivery possible.

Deliveries are performed at Kennedy University Hospital in Washington Township. High-risk obstetrical issues, such as diabetes management or advanced maternal age, are managed by our obstetricians in conjunction with our perinatologists in our division of Maternal/Fetal Medicine.

MIDWIFERY SERVICESOur experienced midwives care for women in all stages of life, from the teenage years to post-menopause. Midwives add a unique component to our obstetrical program, sharing caring deliveries while emphasizing the process of pregnancy and birth through education, health care and supportive intervention. They advocate for non-intervention in normal processes and promote health education for women throughout their child-bearing cycle. Of course, if complications arise during the pregnancy or delivery, our patients have the advantage of a physician specialist who can collaborate to ensure a safe and healthy outcome for mother and child.

MATERNAL/FETAL MEDICINECare during high-risk pregnancies begins with a thorough and comprehensive fetal assessment early in a pregnancy. The use of ultrasound blood tests and specialized echocardiography are just a few of the non-invasive procedures that we use to assess any concerns. Our team will provide a comprehensive evaluation that includes an action plan appropriate for both mother and child to minimize any potential risk throughout the pregnancy.

Expect the Best!Women of every age can trust their health care to The University Doctors Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where highly sophisticated, patient-focused health services are delivered in a warm, caring and compassionate environment.

Our physicians, midwives and staff work collaboratively to provide personalized health care to women of all ages, with a primary focus on wellness, health awareness and disease prevention.
