a) The two (2) best Qualifying Round scores from any of the Ontario Cup(s) and/or Elite Ontario Championships, with the exception of senior athletes; Rule # 1 b), PLUS;

b) The one (1) best Finals score from any of the Ontario Cup(s) and or Elite Ontario Championships,

with the exception of senior athletes; Rule # 1 b). For TRA / TUM & DMT: In the case of a tie, the best all-around score (Qualifying Round plus Finals) from Ontario Championships will be used to break a tie. If there was still a tie then

F.I.G. tie breaking rules would apply using the results from the qualifying round of the Ontario Championships.

4. Team Travel for Funded Athletes

Members of the Ontario Delegation who are receiving funding from G.O. to attend Canadian Championships will only be given two travel options:

a) Travel with Team (as per G.O. organization) and assume costs outlined by G.O. b) Secure separate flight. Designated time for arrival and meeting up with Managers must be adhered to

(i.e. anyone securing a separate flight must arrive on a designated day and report to a manager by a designated time). Will still be a part of the G.O. accommodation, team functions and other costs outlined by G.O.

5. General Ranking Criteria for Athletes

The purpose of the general ranking criteria is to ensure that there is always a system in place to rank athletes for selection to an event when time restraints have not allowed for the T & T T.C. to establish specific selection criteria. Specific criteria will always supersede the general ranking criteria.

a) The team will be determined after athletes have been ranked using their two (2) best scores attained

during the current competitive season. The T & T T.C. will also review petitions. If there have been no qualifying competitions during the current competitive season, Provincial stream athletes will be ranked according to their scores from Ontario Championships and National stream athletes will be ranked according to their scores from Canadian Championships. Ties will be broken as per FIG.

b) All financial support for athletes, coaches and judges selected as team members is subject to change pending funding levels.

c) Scores from a FIG event, which occurred within the current selection time frame, may also be used by the Technical Committee to rank athletes for any individual or team selection.
