We get energy form the food we eat and drink. They are broken down by oxygen gas to release the energy. What do plants give us? What do animals give us? Who gives food to animals?

How things move

For pupils to know how force works

A force is a push or pull of an object. Objects can move in different ways. Things can move when we push, pull, twist or lifted. Things that are pushed – wheel barrow, trolley, chair, baby stroller, cart. Things that can be pulled – horse/ donkey cart, nail, tooth, kite, rope on flag pole. Things that can be twisted – bottle cap, body (waist), screw. Things that can be lifted – bucket, glass of water.
