All Grade 7 students are required to take the following core courses: English, math, science, social studies, and health and physical education. Additional core courses may also be required based upon a specific program in which a student is enrolled. Descriptions of all courses can be found in the Middle School Program of Studies. High Intensity Language Training Program:

Students enrolled in the High Intensity Language Training Program (HILT) are grouped by English language proficiency into HILT A, HILT B, HILTEX A and HILTEX B. Recommendations for math courses are made by staff. Parents will be notified of the recommendations before a final assignment is made.
