• Gujarat Rotary Club introduced SAT VISARJAN RATH

• It is a vehicle having a big vessel or Tank containing water in which the idol of Ganesha is been immersed

REASONS

• Prevent the toxic to enter the water bodies

• Health issue could be prevented,

• Its both religious and eco-friendly,

• A good initiative for saving the environment from getting polluted, and keeping the religious factors in mind, its a balanced activity,

• They are shifting to next year, only few areas can be used for emersion,

• Inspired by the spain activity

• They are been doing this for 3 years, their media partner is 92.7 Big FM.

ABOUT MANUFACTURING

• After the immersion it is sent to the associated industry where it is been separated and purified

• Plaster of Paris is not that toxic but the paint used is Toxic

• Plans for going to do water level reduction at suksagar lake
