We at DFW International community Alliance recognize thesignificant role education has played in our nation’s growthand success as well as in the ability of its inhabitants topursue their right to happiness. For several years we haveoffered this Scholarship Guide as a downloadabledatabase for minority students and for children of “NewAmericans” who may not be aware of the manyopportunities for scholarships available to them. Finally,thanks to the support of Citigroup, we are able to makeavailable printed copies of the Guide.

Over 40% of North Texas population is composed ofimmigrants and their children. Their impact in ourcultural, economic and political well-being must berecognized and supported. As they continue toassimilate, their hopes and dreams become the story ofour country to the rest of the world.
