For golfers, the measures cover each step of the journey from home to 1st tee andback home again. At the golf course, these measures are in place from dawn until dusk, seven days aweek. A time you need to be off the course will be posted each date in the Pro shop. Our measures and procedures are under constant review, updated as advice fromgovernment, health authorities and the sport’s governing bodies evolves in line withthe gradual lifting of social restrictions.

Booking a tee time in advance is compulsory - via our websiteTee time booking window set at 7 days in advance only.Members will be only allowed to make a booking every 270 minutes.We require all players to provide a phone number & email address to enable contact tracingAll Golfers will be made aware of our measures prior to their visitGolf equipment should be cleaned before a player leaves homeGolfers should travel to the club alone, or with a member of the same householdAmple car parking spaces are available to enable social distancingArrival at the course no more than 20 minutes prior to reserved tee timeObserve social distancing always & resist the temptation to mingleLocker rooms are closed for changing. Change footwear in car parkReport straight to Golf Shop on Arrival

Check in & Golf shop Protocol

Mandatory check in at the Golf ShopTwo metre queue markers at a single Golf Shop entry pointOnly one person at a time permitted inside the Golf ShopA two metre exclusion zone at the service deskStaff will retrieve any items members require from their lockersEssential golfing items will be available to purchase.Food & Beverage items limited to chocolate bars & drinksWear protective gloves provided when using the self service coffee machinesScorecards only available to download from the clubs website or use the electronic scoringapp on Intelligent golf.Social golf only. Initially there will be no competitive golf

Clubhouse & Hire FacilitiesClubhouse will remain closedToilets in the locker room will have open entrance doors & will be cleaned regularlyHand dryers will be disabled, with disposable paper towels providedSanitised trollies & buggies are available for hire, single person use onlyPlayers must provide own clubs, hire sets will not be availableThe driving range will remained closed until further notice.

Groups restricted to a two player maximum, at 10-minute intervalsPutting green is open, limited to 3 players, with holes filled. Players practising must observephysical distancingArrive at 1st Tee no more than 5 minutes prior to the reserved tee timeA social distancing marshall will patrol the car park, first tee & practice green to encourageplayer adherence to protocol & to help avoid group gatheringsAny players not following the directions will be asked to leave the golf courseTee off times strictly observed to maintain minimum 10 minute group spacing

Physical distancing observed throughout, particularly on the tees and greensSocial spacing signage identifies waiting areas on tee box approachesRubbish bins removed or out of use. Please take rubbish home with you.Ball washers removed or covered overBunker rakes removed, players to make best efforts to smooth sand using their club/ feet prior to shot or place the ball in the bunker within 150mm with no penalty.Par three holes are compulsory call up holes to avoid player congestionFlagsticks to remain in the hole & must not be touchedHole cups inverted for simple, contact free ball retrievalOnce a hole is complete, the group in front must have exited the tee box before players canprogress to the next holeDo not double back to play again if ball is lost, unplayable or in a penalty area. In social golf ifyour ball is out of bounds or lost, under local rules you may take a 2 shot penalty near thatpoint rather than return to where the shot was originally played from.if playing as a ‘one-ball’ only play one ball (otherwise it can be slow looking for multiple balls)make sure you ring the bell on 2nd, 5th, 14th holes spend no more than 3 mins (as per 2019 ‘new‘ rules) and looking for your ballEquipment, food & drink must not be exchanged between playersPlayers must not pick up another players equipment or golf ballPlayers must refrain from handshakes and high fivesAll golfers must walk in from the course 30 minutes prior to the displayed closing time in thePro shop

Post round players must return straight to their carsRestaurant & Bars will remained closedLockers cannot be accessed to store belongingsHands must be washed in the toiletsA staff member will be on site until 30 minutes past closing time which is when the carpark access will be lockedEnsure clubs and equipment is thoroughly cleaned after usePlayers must call or email the golf club with any post round health issues or COVID-19related queries, at the earliest oppourtunityOur Club has an assigned COVID-19 member of Staff responsible for managing suchissues & queries

One member of staff present in the Pro Shop at any one timeStaff provided with PPE, masks & gloves to wear on siteStaff comprehensivley trained in importance of hand hygiene & cough etiquetteHand sanitiser & cleaning solutions provided at the desk for staff use onlyStaff to always remain at least two metres from customersService desk protection screens have been installedAll work areas & contact points are cleaned & sanitised regularlySanitiser wipes to be used to clean the credit card machine after every use

Staggered start & break times to avoid social gatheringMornings briefings postponed, the Head Green Keeper sends digital work lists to teammembersHand sanitiser provided for regular useDisposable gloves are always wornFace masks used as requiredStaff to avoid gathering at the green keepers shedMachinery fully washed after use, including disinfecting of controls

The Front of House Pro Shop Team manage all customer facing aspects of the golf club. Ourextensive measures will assist with their safety, along with club members, guests & visitors

Green Keeping Team Green Keepers are isolated on the course for mush of the time, with steps taken to minimisethe risk of cross-contamination during their shift.
