Fiberlink® Spring 2014 Product Catalog2
Meet Fiberlink®:
Fiberlink® is the most extensive collection of all-digital fiber optic transmission systems from any manufacturer. Fiberlink offers products that support nearly every type of video, audio and data signal. Completing our line of transmission systems are our multiplexers for transmitting multiple signals over a single fiber optic core and our optical distribution amplifiers that provide point-to-multipoint signal distribution.
Fiberlink makes solutions practical and affordable.
Fiberlink is a truly plug-n-play system. No Fiberlink model requires any special tools, adjustments, equalization or deskewing during installation.
Fiberlink offers unbeatable performance and simplicity at a very affordable price.
Fiberlink moves your signals digitally using light, not electricity, so your signal is immune to interference, ground-loops, EMI – virtually every prohibitive characteristic of copper is eliminated!
Fiberlink can send your signals farther and with greater signal fidelity.
Multiple signals and signal types can be multiplexed over a single fiber optic core with no distortion or equalization and deskewing.
Fiber is very affordable and can be purchased for less than Cat 5E/6 in most cases.
Fiber can be easily terminated in the field.
Fiber is thinner, more flexible and stronger than coax, Cat 5, Cat 6 and twisted pair and stands up to greater abuse.
Fiberlink offers complex point-to-multipoint and drop-and-repeat capabilities making it easy to take advantage of Fiberlink’s benefits in any Pro A/V application.

First fiber optic
link with optional
internal battery
operation!
Battery Operated 3G/HD/SD-SDI over FiberFiberlink® 3115 SDI Beamer Series
The Fiberlink SDI Beamer is unique in that it can be powered externally or via an internal 9-volt battery. When both power sources are used in con-
junction, the 9V battery acts as a fail-safe, glitch-free backup with no interruption to the transmitted signal
should you lose power.
Fiberlink SDI Beamer supports 3G, HD and SD-SDI data rates as well as DVB-ASI per
SMPTE specifications and works with both sin-gle mode and multimode
fiber right out of the box. The transmitter’s input is equal-
ized and the receiver’s output is reclocked. Made for in-the-field use, Fiberlink SDI Beamer comes equipped with a
locking ring power connector and a chain-attached ST dust cap. Fiberlink
SDI Beamer is compatible with all other CSI SDI Fiberlink® and Copperlink™ products including the Fiberlink® Matrix. Fiberlink SDI Beamer is also compatible with any SMPTE 297-2006 compliant product.
