To the World’s Biggest Guestlist Fans,

After 30 years of running India’s largest events, and after 9 years of captaining Sunburn - the 3rd largest dance music festival in the world - it was time to take things to the next level. I wanted to unite the world of dance music for a positive, social cause.

On Dec. 13, 2015 India made history. We united the world in an absolutely ground-breaking event. The World’s #1 DJ performed for free, with 100,000 fans on his own personal guestlist - for free! The first time ever that dance music stalwarts joined hands in order to make a difference to those who needed it most.

None of this could have been possible without the love and support of all the 150,000 fans that registered for the event. Through your contribution, The World’s Biggest Guestlist was able to make the entire world dance, while educating 18,200 children in the Magic Bus program.

Impact.World’s Biggest Guestlist with

Hardwell

A total of 18,200 across 4 of India’s poorest regions will access formal

education as a direct result of the World’s Biggest Guestlist with DJ Hardwell. The event was conceptualized and executed by Shailendra Singh and Guestlistevents.in. Further support is courtesy our Corporate partners Hero and Bharti Airtel. Through education, the Magic Bus programme will move these 18,200 children out of poverty by guiding them on a journey from childhood, to dignified livelihood options.

In addition to programmatic support, tens of thousands of young dance music fans in

Mumbai, and millions tuning in on live streaming to 75 countries around the world, became aware of the importance of children’s education in India, most of them pledging their support on ketto.org and bookmyshow.com. The #magicbus initiative generated a billion impressions online, further adding to increasing awareness about the cause.

Hardwell visited actual Magic Bus educated families in the British Port Trust slums.

Returning to Amsterdam and speaking on the most watched Dutch late night talk show,

Hardwell admitted that it was a “life changing experience.”
