of Florence. We were at a comfortable and enjoyable walk to everything. The museums, galleries, the Boboli gardens all close

at hand. Wonderful! The property is comfortable and complete, charming and full of character. Within walking distance to great

restaurants and most sights. We felt safe and welcome in the neighbourhood. All of Florence is at your doorstep.”

"The service by the people involved (Raffaella, Marco and Alessandro) was simply perfect before, during and after the

stay. They were warm in the relationship, generous in the times for check-in and check-out, and attentive with our needs. The

apartment was exactly as in the photos and description. It was comfortable and everything worked perfectly, even the heating

during an unusually gelid weather. The location is very convenient, many of the attractions are at walking distance. The cordiality and trust demonstrated by the Halldis’ people was probably the best of this experience. We will certainly recommend Halldis to our friends

que nous avions quelques provisions dans le frigidaire.Franchement bravo, nous aurions des leçons à prendre

nous français... Cet appartement a certainementétait refait depuis peu (matériaux neufs et de qualité),

il est de plus meublé avec beaucoup de goût(petits meubles anciens, bonne literie). Très franchement,

nous sommes ravis de notre choix et de notre séjour en général.Florence est une ville superbe à découvrir.”

“Dear Sandra,The apartment was great, it is well stocked, very

nicely finished, felt very safe and in a quiet area. Beingout of the ‘tourist’ area, but close enough to walk to the ‘sites’

meant that at the end of the day it was great to go back to,relax on the balcony with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in quiet

surroundings and enjoy being in Florence.Being close to a market meant that self catering was no problem,despite our very poor Italian, and there is a very good bread shop

just around the corner. Lots of restaurants within easy walkingdistance. (…) Your agent in Florence is a very friendly, competent,

helpful lady. Supplied us with lots of information on where wecould find the food market, supermarkets, bus stops, all the littlethings that you need to help find your way around a new city.(...)I had been to Italy some 35 years ago and have always wanted

short stay. The location is exceptional just a short walkto Hotel de Ville Metro.

The building is very old and charming but the apartment has beencompletely remodeled with all modern conveniences and tastefully

decorated. There is even a nice library of guide books leftfor visitors. This is a great company and a wonderful apartment.

“What a beautiful, romantic and totally amazing apartment. Right in the heart of the city!! It’s really quiet and warm, in a perfect old

style, it was like living in a fairytale. The position is unique, close to the Santa Croce Cathedral and just a few steps from the Bargello Museum, the Dante’s house and the Duomo. During our stay, my

husband and I were so happy to have found many typical trattorias and nice shops just round the corner. It was nice to walk around

of the amenities we could have asked for. The apartment was immaculately maintained. With a wine store down the street,

grocery store around the corner, and several great restaurants in the area, it was great value for money as we could stay in or dine

out as we chose. Far less expensive and more comfortable than a hotel would have been for the five of us. It was in easy walking

“We stayed in this lovely apartment in Venice for 4 days in No-vember. From the moment Sebastiano met us at the Vaporetto we

were enchanted. Right beside a canal, you enter through a security gate, walk up an ancient corridor (everything in Venice was ancient to us, we are Australian) and into the building. Everything that you

need, is there, wonderfully decorated and really clean.(…) Sebastiano was so helpful, explained everything to us, told us where the supermarket was, described the local cafes and set up

the internet for us. If we wanted some information about anything, we would email him and he always answered instantly.

The location was wonderful, you get to experience the local area and people, there was a bakery 2 doors up and we got fresh

pastries for breakfast every morning...Yum!We wished we had stayed long, so enjoyable.”
