As per guidenace of Gujarat Technological University, STBS College of Diploma
Engineering, Surat has establish Mobile and Wireless Technologies Club (MWTC).Under
which, One Day Workshop on Android was organized on 6th September – 2014. The
workshop was aimed to provide basic knowledge about Android System for mobile
devices and developing a small application. Almost 54 students and 05 faculty members
from E & C Engineering department have participated in the workshop.
The Schedule of the workshop for one day:-
Session 1:
Knowledge of Basic Android System. - 10.00 A.M to 11.30 A.M.
Session 2:
Demonstration to create a small basic application on android OS.
- 11.35 A.M to 12.30 P.M.
Session 3:
Practice for Creating a small android Application in computers.
01.00 P.M to 02.30 P.M.
Session 4:
Question – Answers. 02.30 P.M. to 03.30 P.M.

On 6th September, 2014, the First Session of basic android system knowledge was started at
10:00 A.M by Mr. Jaydip D. Ujainiya. He started with introduction of Android system for
mobile devices, and gave a brief knowledge about how to use android smart phones
effectively. He suggested some useful applications for android too.
After that, he gave a demonstration on how to make a basic android application.

After completing demonstration, 3rd session was arranged in computer lab and
students prepared a basic android application over there.
