Specifications

The Signode GripPack steel strap tensioner provides the high tension required for heavy duty steel strapping applications, together with the low weight and portability never before available in a strapping tool of this type. It delivers maximum power and performance without the high cost of compressed air generation and the limitations of pneumatically driven tools.

GripPack’s lightweight and ergonomic design makes it easy to use and operate. Modern ‘electric drill’ design style has been used to ensure it is comfortable when held, aiding operator safety. With automatic operation and numerous performance enhancing features, it vastly improves packaging productivity and can be used for a wide range of product packaging applications including steel and aluminium coils, tubes, pipes, ingots and billets, float glass and container loading.

When used in conjunction with the GripPack Sealer, it represents a new generation of battery powered strapping tools for the most demanding applications, with the additional benefit of significantly reduced operating cost compared to traditional pneumatically powered tools.

Lightweight, ergonomic design The tool weigh’s just 3.9kg and features an ‘electric drill’ style grip. The balanced ergonomic design helps improve productivity and safety by reducing operator fatigue.

Tension setting & operational modesThe GripPack tensioner can be operated in automatic or manual mode and pulls up to 6,600N of tension. A rotary switch both adjusts tension setting and, by moving to the ‘mode’ position, allows switching between automatic and manual operation.

Long-lasting power with fast rechargingThe advanced 18V Lithium Ion HC BOSCH battery gives 120 + cycles per charge. Recharging takes 30 minutes, with 80% charge available after just 20 minutes.
