Threshold Enterprises is an industry leader in manufacturing and distribution of vitamins and other nutritional supplements, with approximately 850 employees. As part of the HR team, my jobs responsibilities continued to increase over time, and eventually included Benefits Management, Recruiting Support, Compensation Review, Employee Investigations, HRIS & HR Reporting, Employee Relations, and Payroll Support.

Administration and management of all company benefits programs. Medical / Dental / Vision, Supplemental coverage, two 401(k) plans, and FSA program.

Responsible for all HRIS Reporting, spreadsheets, bar graphs, pie charts, etc. “Full Cycle Recruiting” for all internal openings, in all departments including:

Manufacturing, Quality Control, Sales, Customer Service, R&D, Warehouse, Accounting, Purchasing, Print Shop, Marketing, and management level positions.

Conducted investigations, (harassment, drugs / alcohol, gang issues).

2001 to 2003 “On-Site Manager” Adecco Technical @ Cisco Systems, San Jose, CA

Working for Adecco Technical, I managed a 10 person On-Site program at a top profile client, Cisco Systems. This program supported all of the Temporary & Contractor workforce needs for I.T., Networking and all other Computer Professional positions, (nearly 500 people across 20+ buildings), at their corporate headquarters in San Jose, CA.

Responsible for leading a team of employees across five different Cisco divisions, including Account Mangers, Staffing Coordinators, and Administrative Support.

Reported to the Adecco Regional V.P., out of their San Francisco headquarters. Interacted directly with Cisco’s internal HR Director, in regards to the

management of the technical contractor workforce on assignment at Cisco. Managed the relationships with over 60 outside staffing companies that provided

recruiting support, as well as reviewing and selecting new agencies to become recruiting partners.

Daily interaction directly with top level executive and hiring managers who had openings and needed temporary workers.

In addition, I also helped to implement a new on-line system for generation of new requisitions and tracking resume flow, interview requests, and tracking statistics for new placements.

1998 to 2000 Branch ManagerSuperior Technical Resources, San Jose, CA

Managed an internal staff of 8 employees, and was the primary “Branch Level” contact in support of 3 “on-site” programs, where our staffing representatives were working full time at our client’s campus.

I was responsible for interviewing, selecting and training internal employees. I was also responsible for tracking employee performance, conducting annual reviews, counseling employees when needed, and doing exit interviews.

Created office goals and staffing plans to support business objectives. Ensured all ISO 9002 standards were in compliance with company policy, and

was trained as an “Internal ISO Audit Specialist”, and reviewed other braches. Was responsible for the day-to-day management of approximately 400 contract

employees working at various client locations, and was the main contact for issues regarding Workers Compensation, Unemployment Claims, Sexual

Harassment Issues, Medical and Dental insurance, 401K programs and any Payroll errors.

1995 to 1998 Technical Recruiter & Account ManagerVolt Services Group - San Jose, CA.

Interacted directly with hiring managers to determine the job requirements of open positions.

Recruited qualified contractors for job opportunities, coordinated interviews, and ensured completion of appropriate documentation when starting contractors on assignment.

Over time I gained increasing responsibility as a recruiter and became the manager of various accounts. In addition to recruiting, I also trained new employees and became an office leader.

Eventually I was given an opportunity to start a new office for Volt in Santa Rosa, CA when the company won a contract with Hewlett Packard in that area.

After the new branch was successfully up and running, I transferred back to San Jose to continue my work as a lead recruiter and account manager.
