Greenway is renowned for its spring garden, filled with magnolias and rhododendrons, and a vast collection of camellias.Camellias have been associated with Greenway since at least the 1830s and every new owner has added more varieties over the generations, some of whom were highly respected plantsmen of their day. This collection and the care that the garden team puts into cataloguing, caring for and cultivating them, has seen Greenway accredited an International Camellia Society’s Camellia Garden of Excellence. Greenway is the first National Trust garden with this accreditation, and one of just seven gardens in the UK.

What’s on

Each day you can enjoy discovering camellias in the garden at Greenway. Find out what is flowering in March, and the best places in the garden to view them.
