Our new series, History Harvest, will focus on collecting and scanning important historical documents from our town’s history. The library will use a scanner to copy photos and documents col- lected from patrons that will be returned to them immediately. History Harvest event: Stone Wallssaturday, september 23rd 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

a supernatural eveninG WitH jeFF belanGer

monday, october 2nd at 7:00 pm

For the last 17 years, Jeff Belanger has searched the world for monsters, ghosts, and other paranormal legends that have seeped into our culture, folklore, religion, and even our history books. On Monday, October 2nd at 7:00 pm, he will be sharing his findings at our library in a lecture that will include images, audio clips, and video from some of the world’s most infamous haunts. Jeff will have signed copies of his books available for purchase and will be available after his presentation for questions.

Belanger is a paranormal researcher, investigator, and is the author of more than a dozen books on the paranor-mal. He’s the Emmy-nominated host, writer, and pro-ducer of New England Legends on PBS and the series writer/researcher for the Ghost Adventures show on the Travel Channel. Belanger is also the founder of Ghost-village.com and a noted speaker and media personality. Don’t miss out on your chance to meet him this year!

Starting on Friday, September 8th, in the children’s room from 3:00 – 4:30 pm. There are many fun and exciting board games to play for children and their families. Bring a friend or make a new one! This is a drop-in-program, no registration is required.

bryant university tutorinG proGram

The Greenville Public Library and Bryant University are collaborating once again in order to provide tutors to children who would like extra help in improving their math skills, reading comprehension or guidance on getting start-ed with their homework. The tutoring sessions will begin the week of September 25th. Applications will be available at the children’s room desk on September 11th. Space is lim-ited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Fall storyHour reGistration

Registration for the fall series of storyhours will take place on September 25 – 30th. Turtle Time is for children ages1 ½ - 2 ½ on Mondays at 10:15. Toddler storyhour is for children ages 2½ - 3 ½ on Fridays at 10:15 or 11:15. Pre-school storyhour is for children ages 3 ½ - 6 on Wednesdays at 10:30 or 1:00. Registration is required for all storyhours and can be done in person or by calling 949- 3630 x2. Sessions will begin the week of October 2nd running until the week of December 4th.
