Why is a WWII pilot who was officially declared missing still strapped in his aircraft’s cockpit at the bottom of Narragansett Bay? How did a chance meeting between two pilots in Smithfield in 1932 change history and effect the outcome of World War II? And somewhere in New England, a Cranston naval lieutenant and his aircraft are still waiting to be found. Perhaps you can help solve a mystery.

Jim’s research includes formerly “classified” investigation reports obtained through the Freedom of Information Act which reveal for the first time what the public never knew due to wartime secrecy.

Scenes from the painting, pasta and pizza art class taught by Adele Karbowski.

For the first half of November Rebecca Rowley will be exhibiting a collection of her work including jewel-ry, book art, and photography. Her jewelry currently focuses on wire and resin pieces, with a heavy focus on the Tree of Life. Rebecca’s book art involves rescuing old books and breathing new life into them by turning them into art. She cuts the pages out to form a hidden shadowbox inside the book. The pages are glued to-gether and various elements are added to create a one of a kind scene inside. Visit her online at: www.dream-land-photography.com.
