Green DayGreen day have the style of punk rock, they where a lot of black and red, the image shows this because there in a dark alley dressed in black white and red. These colours represent danger, risk and mystery.

Green Day-Billie Joe Armstrong Raised in Rodeo, California Armstrong developed an interest in

music at a young age, and recorded his first song at the age of five. He met Mike Dirnt while attending elementary school, and the two instantly bonded over their mutual interest in music, forming the band Sweet Children when the two were 15 years old. The band changed its name to Green Day, and would later achieve massive commercial success. Armstrong has also pursued musical projects outside of Green Day's work, well as serving as the primary vocalist for the bands Pinhead Gunpowder. Green Day- Mark Dirnt Michael Ryan Pritchard (born May 4, 1972) is an American musician, best

known as the bassist, backing vocalist and co-founder of the American rock band Green Day. Dirnt was born on May 4, 1972 in Oakland, California. At six weeks old, Dirnt was placed with foster parents Cheryl Nasser and Patrick Pritchard. While at Pinole High School, Dirnt, Armstrong, and classmate Sean Hughes formed a band called Sweet Children. The first gig for green day was a success and a disaster because the band was playing so good that they started a mud fight with the audience and the screaming fans got up on the stage a started to riot and one member of the band dirnt got tackled to the ground by a security guard and lost seven of his teeth.

Green Day-Tre Cool Frank Edwin Wright III (born on December 9, 1972), better known as Tré Cool,

is an American drummer, best known as the drummer for Green Day. He replaced the group's former drummer John Kiffmeyer in 1991. Cool has also played in The Lookouts, Samiam and the Green Day side-projects. At the age of 12 years old he joined a band called The lookouts he was the drummer for the band, he also got given the nickname Tre Cool, When Green Day's drummer, John Kiffmeyer, left the band, the group recruited Cool to be there drummer. Cool dropped out of high school and opted to earn a GED. He began taking classes at a local community college but would later drop out because the band became more time consuming priority. Later that year the was deciding to break up because it was hard adjusting to their new drummer.

Green Day-Jason White Jason White (born November 11, 1973 in Little Rock, Arkansas) is an American

musician best known as the guitarist and backing vocalist of the American rock band Green Day. He is also the guitarist and vocalist for the Californian punk rock band Pinhead Gunpowder. He was previously a touring member of Green Day since 1999 when they recorded Warning, and he became an official member of the band during the recording of the ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tre! trilogy in 2012. In the Summer of 1992, White filled in guitar duties for Bay Area punk band Monsula, who were performing at Little Rock, AR club Vino's. The first green day video he appear in was “when I come around”, When Green Day/Pinhead Gunpowder frontman Billie Joe Armstrong founded Adeline Records in 1997, White helped him run it. He re-appeared with Armstrong for two Green Day shows in 1999, both of which raised money for the Bridge School Benefit.

this is because all the song have drums and guitar and bass In them which represents rock so they have made the lyrics more punkie to get the genre punk rock instead of heavy metal.

The record labelThe record label for green day is reprise records it is a American record label which was formed in 1960 by Frank Sinatra, but at this present time it is owned by the record company Warner music group and worked through Warner Bros records. In 1960 they had a specific type of audience which was pop music.Warner bros records is part of TIME WARNER which is a huge multinational organization. Here are some bands and artists, all the young, Benny Banks, Cee lo Green of the Time Warner empire it aims to signs lucrative contracts with successful/ talented musicians in order to make maximum profits for the company.Green day have a problem with illegal downloading because it stops them from making money and its unfair on the band their trying to make a living and there is also mixed opinions in the band.

This magazine is called NYLON guys.The caption says Green day are back suggesting that they are coming back and are better then before. The colours are white, black and light green these are the usual colours that green day are seen in.The Masthead uses a very simple, block style font- it is what it is!There is just one cover line- the green cross draws attention to it, it also has a plain black background, the band are coming out of the shadow.They are dressed to suit the genre of music- they have a retro punk rock styleThe facial expression of the band are very confident and the look on there faces challenges the audience and there gaze is very direct.

Continued Analysis ? The style of this magazine cover is very

unconventional. This is because it does not follow the normal conventions of other magazines because it has not got all the text on the front cover like the other magazine covers so this makes it unconventional.

Company is more business, but sometimes they do magazines which feature rock groups such as ‘Green Day,’ which is more fun and to a different target audience. The target audience for this is is aimed at punk rock fans and for 16-30 year olds.

The content and the style of the text The context of the text is very formal

and has lots of hyper links in it, it also gives lots of examples and quotes, the style of the text vary’s sometimes its black and sometimes it could be blue, orange etc, they also change the font of there text to match the subject.
