Mr. and Mrs. Detaiar Sparling and children, Kathy and Walter, of Kerhonkson spent the weekend in their camper with his mother, Mrs. Stella Baker. Clifford Sparling of Davenport Center and Clinton Sparling of Binghamton also spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs. Baker.
Mrs. Irene Broomhead and friend, Mrs. Charlotte Clegg of Taunton, Mass., have been spending a week with Mrs. Broomhead’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Brialey.
Mrs. Sherrill Tompkins is spending several days with her daughter, Mrs. Ira Jones, and family.
Mrs. Rudy Riedl of Conesville spent Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gockel. Also guests a t the Gockel home were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bouton and children of Arkvile and Peter VanWormer. Mrs. Dorothy Cortese, who has been in Elmira for a week assisting in her capacity as telephone operator in the disaster area, returned and spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gockel.
Mrs. Edward Corsi of New Yoek city is spending July at her country home in Hardscrabble. Mrs. Sue Van Clute of New York city is visiting her.
Mrs. Richard Cafiero and son, Joseph, of Poughkeepsie is spending two weeks with her mother, Mrs. F. Leighton End- erlin, wnile Mr. Cafiero is with the Army Reserve a t Camp Drum.
Ministers HereRev. William Ward, pastor
of the First P r e s b y t e r i a n church a t Delhi, occupied the pulpit Sunday a t the Gould Memorial Reformed church. On Sunday, July 9, there was a student minister, William Halter. Next Sunday, Rev. John F. Bandt, who has accepted the call to the pastorate at
the Gould church, will occupy the pulpit. He and his family will move into the manse this week.
Janet Louise Hughes, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm C. Hughes, was baptized Sunday at the Roxbury United Methodist church service.
Mrs. Percy Price is living in her new home on Roosevelt avenue, where she has moved from her house on the S tra tton Falls road.
Mr. and Mrs. William Sawyer and children, Allen and Wendy, of Baldwin, L.I., spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Helwig, who are spending the summer a t their country home in Vega.
Mr. and Mrs. Arvon Webster and children, Donald, Gail and Kenneth, of West Islip spent ithe weekend at their Roxbury home. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Caliguri of West Islip visited them and will rennain for the summer.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl T. Washburn Sr. of Delmar have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Earl T. Washburn Jr. Mrs. Washburn Jr. and childen are spending this week on a vacation trip through the New England states.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sgam- bati and children, Donna and Lori, of College Point, L.I., and Mr. and Mrs. Philip Giuliano and son, Frank, of New Rochelle, L.I., are spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Luigi Sette.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Zui- dema and children, James and Judith, of Honolulu are vacationing with their Roxbury parents, Mr. and Mrs. Obe Zui- dema and Walter Meade. Mr. Zuidema is senior program officer of the Food International East-West center in Hawaii.
Mrs. James Minnerly has returned home from Athens, Greece, where she and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Richard Simons, and her daughters, Toula and Angela, of Perth Amboy, N.J., spent five weeks with Mrs. Simons’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nino Koussouri, at Athens. Mrs. Minnerly’s son, who is in the Naval Reserve a t Perth Amboy, brought his mother home last Sunday.
Mrs. Andrew German and sons, Chris and Tony, are spending the suramer with her mother in Augsburg, Germany.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Nichols Jr. of Johnson City have a new son, Jeremy Todd Nichols, born July 6. He is their second son. Mrs. Nichols is the fonner Lynne Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond P. Miller, former Roxbury funeral director, now of Martinsville, Va.

of Eastman School of Music in Rochester in June, ds spen tog the summer at Hancock, Maine, where he is studying and playing a t the Pierre Monteaur Memorial foundation, a summer place for musicians.
Among those who came Saturday ito the funeral of Mrs. Daisy Ives and stayed Saturday night were Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Ives, Floyd Ives Jr. and Mrs. Ruth Ives of Oak Hill, Mrs. Sherman Munger and daughter, Mrs. Pauline Lawrence, Mrs. Lynn Martin, Mrs. Inez Clarke, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Partridge, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Tompkins, Mrs. Flora Tompkins, Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, all of Ashland.
Miss May Corbett of Bronx- ville is spending two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Kelly. Also guests for a few days were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Mazuka of Flushing, L.I.
Mr. and Mrs. Augustine Tu- rano and daughter, Debra, and Mrs. Mary Liguori of Manhattan spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Salvatore Turano. Mrs. Vincent DiGiovanni and son, Charles, joned them Saturday and Sunday at the Turano home.
Mrs. George Pebler, Mrs. James R. Savold and daughter, Mss Mary-Jo Savold, the Delaware County Dairy princess, and Mrs. Pearl Johnson of Meridale attended the Dairy Princess seminar at the Sheraton hotel at Syracuse July 5 and 6.
Gregor Benkert, who has been a patient at Margaretville hospital for 11 days, is out and a t the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Pebler.
Mrs. Jack Baker of Bayshore spent several days wtih her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pebler. Her husiband came for her Sunday.

Principal and Mrs. Robert Prout and children, Kathy, Robin and Billy, returned on Wednesday from Largo, Fla., where they spent a week with Mr. Prout’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Prout. They stopped at Disney World a t Orlando on the way back.
Mrs. Anna Arvia of Brooklyn spent two weeks with her sister, Mrs. C. Frank Macri, who is spending the summer a t her country home. Mr. Macri comes weekends.
Wanda D’Orta has returned from Poughkeepsie, where she had visited Mr. and Mrs. Roger McCloskey.

Roxbury, July 20.—Thomas Rose, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rose of Roxbury, and Miss Alice Atwood of Oneonta were united in marriage in a civil ceremony in Roxbury July 6.
Their a t t e n d a n t s were Charles Brannen, brother-in- law of the bridegroom, and Miss Debra Ingram, the bridegroom’s niece.
The newly married couple will live a t Schoharie, where Mr. Rose works on a farm.

James Finch, after 25 days at the Stamford hospital following severe burns in an accident, has been transferred to Albany Medical Center, room 211, Ward 2A.
