Background info:

Conflict:

When the villagers become busy handling their business, they start to forget cleaning and polishing the statue of the god of wealth MONEYWANG. At first, they come every day, but as time pass by, they come once a week, and sadly at last no one come at all.

One day a heavy rain occur with lighting and thunder. Everyone was very scared and lock themselves in their home. Without anyone realizing it, the statue was hit by lighting too and very much destroy.

Since no one come to polish and clean the statue, no one realize that the statue were very much destroy by the lighting and the thunder. Because of that the god of wealth MONEYWANG become very angry and he curse the villagers with poorness.

With his curse, all the money that the villagers have suddenly disappear.

Resolution:

Everyone from the village gather in front of the house of the wise man and ask him to talk to the god and ask him how they can fix the mistake they make. He said that may be if we fix the statue and build statue of the goddess of wealth RINGGITA next to it the god will be pleased. So everyone agree.

They start building and fixing statues for the past few days. In one week, the statue of The God of Wealth MONEYWANG is fixed and polished with the statue of The Goddess Of Wealth RINGGITA next to it. With that the villagers hope that the god forgive their careless and ungratefulness. They hope wealth and prosperity will be granted to them again.

After that, the villagers found all the money that were disappear before.

What natural occurrence does your myth explain?

The myth explain that human naturally believe in dream and often trying to make their dream come true. The myth also teach that one must be grateful of what were granted to them. Lastly the myth tell us that they are always ways to fix thing.
