Tourism is a major source of revenue for the

country visited and a way of entertainment for the visitor. It refers to movement of people from their permanent residence in another place.

Conclusion and Future Prospects

By developing tourism, Greece can overcome the recession and lead to development. Mr Leivadas mentioned that tourism in Greece is a source of income and contributes to the country's exit from the crisis, while the Minister of Tourism in Greece, Olga Kefalogianni predicted that the number of visitors will increase.
