Great teacher=great results? Wrong The myth that the great teachers have great result still exists in the mentality of a lot of people. Many of us still believes that the person responsible for a child’s education is the teacher. This way of thinking transform the kid in a small sponge that absorbs everything gets without asking anything or having any doubts. From my point of you view, education doesn’t mean only going to school, listening to the teacher and after going home and learning the lesson. Education for me is composed of curiosity, repetition and mental exertion. The only responsability that I would give to the teacher would be for sharing the information in a way that the student will become curious. If the teacher would manage to do that, then we could consider him as a great teacher. If the student would take from his free time for checking the information it means that he is really interested in it. First af all we should not forget that the child has his own personality and that’s why not what’s good for one will be good for all of them. This is also the reason why we can not devide the teachers in two categories, good and bad. The personality makes us unique, special and different. The kids should be encouraged to different and to learn what they like and not what everybody like. On the other hand, the conflict betweet parents and teachers exists for ages already. I think it started because they couldn’t understant their own role in the child’s education. Later, even if they understood it, there appeared the time problem for the parents. It makes them trying to find substitutes for the moments when they can not spend time with their children. Doing this, they don’t assume anymore the problems that could be in the child’s behavior. In conclusion, learning is something that doesn’t happened only when there is a teacher or only when the kid is in school. It
