COLLABORATION: OUR SUCCESS, YOUR SUCCESS

Despite the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are proud of our FY21 achievements. We obligated $2.44 billion and executed over 5,400 total actions. For FY 22, we will continue to have a great need for other than small, small, small disadvantaged, service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, and historically underutilized business zone small business concerns to collaborate with us to complete over 270 projects and exceed our small business goals.

Our acquisition team, comprised of Small Business, Contracting, and Program Management professionals across seven districts, work to ensure you are fully aware of our business opportunities, and are afforded the "maximum practicable opportunity" to compete for them.

On the path to collaborative success, it is recommended that you:

o Ensure your business is properly registered at www.sam.gov.

o Ensure your profile at the Small Business Administration’s Dynamic Small Business Search (http://dsbs.SBA.gov/) includes your certified socioeconomic category and keywords that accurately reflect the competencies that align with your North American Industry Classification System code(s).

o Schedule a virtual Capabilities briefing with one of our district Small Business professionals.

o Respond to our Sources Sought Notices via www.sam.gov. Doing so assists us in conducting market research to better identify if we can set aside a project for small business concerns.

o Proactively engage with any of our seven districts at an Industry Day, Workshop, or Open House event, including the upcoming virtual Great Lakes and Ohio River Division Industry Day, December 1, 2021.

o Search for our opportunities more efficiently by utilizing the Department of Defense Address Activity Code (DoDAAC) at www.sam.gov.

We look forward to achieving success this fiscal year, and beyond. By collaborating with you, we can.

OUTREACH ENGAGEMENTS

Attending an Outreach Engagement is one way to proactively ‘get in front of’ a desired contract opportunity. By attending an industry day, open house, roundtable, conference, workshop, etc., other than small, small, small disadvantaged, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, and HUBZone small business concerns, are afforded the opportunity to interface with leadership, program managers, project engineers, contracting, small business, and other professionals to discuss current or future projects.

Our Small Business professionals are currently available virtually, or by phone to answer questions, guide you to resources, and discuss how your capabilities may align with our mission needs.
