Great Brockhampton FarmDating back to 1919, Great Brockhampton Farm was formally arranged as two cottages and has since been significantly altered and extended, mostly recently by the current owner who has completely transformed the house as recently featured in Architectural Digest magazine. The property is constructed of natural Cotswold stone and offers well-proportioned rooms arranged over three floors and the layout of the ground floor makes for great family living and entertaining. There are a number of traditional features, some which have been completely restored, from stone mullion windows with leaded panes, beautiful wood floors, cast iron radiators, wooden shutters and a number of open fireplaces.

Gardens and landThe garden is enclosed by a Cotswold stone wall and comprises a number of mature trees, stocked flower and shrub beds and lawned areas. A stream runs through the garden down to a ‘natural’ heated and filtered swimming pond with wooden steps to the pond and terrace. The pond is unique, beautifully designed and finished. Large strategically placed boulders act as a natural jumping or diving platform as well as there being a more gentle descent into the water. The pond is surrounded by carefully selected and appropriate plants and the whole area blends into the landscape and natural environment.

Sitting above the house on the other side of the access road is a wooden double garage and additional parking area and adjacent is an orchard with a variety of fruit trees.

The land lies predominately below the house and is pastureland currently grazed by the local farmer. A footpath runs through one of the fields along the side of the valley from the access road above the house towards Snowshill village.
