We all have a narrative. A story of our lives transformed by a love that’s never relinquished in its desire to save a wretch like us. We all have stories – daily stories – of lives changed, new buildings inhabited, ministries launched and new leaders spotted.

We all have a dream – to put the ‘Great’ back into ‘Britain’ through the fulfilling of the prophetic call, ‘thy kingdom come, thy will be done’.

We all are one. One heart, one mind and one soul beating with the punctuations of heaven, harmonizing with the penetrating chords of His Kingdom.

GREATBRITISHCHURCHES

THIS is the stuff of round tables.

THIS is the stuff of shared learning - shared impartation.

THIS is you - championed, expanded, shared out.

THIS is great - this is British. This is Church!

breakthrough with praise and laughter and a heart-swelling recalling of the details.

STORIESA narrative derived from a journey taken that contained enough twists and turns to create both a sense of orginality and adventure.

HONOURTo place value on someone (or some place)

in recognition of either who they are or what they’ve done (as well as

what they’re becoming and what they’re doing).

HEROESPeople who dared to step out, reach out and move at a time when most others retreated. People who createa sense of triumph and new possibilities to those around them.

The aim of The Leadership Academy is to raise up emerging and aspiring leaders and to equip them to build champion churches all over the world. During your time at The Leadership Academy you will have incredible opportunities to grow personally through lectures and specialised training, as well as through practical experience.

partner churchesThis year we’re partnering twith churches across the UK who will be running The Leadership Academy in conjunction with Hope City Church. Students will be billeted over one or two nights while attending the three days of lectures and practical work in Sheffield, then return to their home church to undertake their electives and recieve local training.

It is my hope that throughout the year students develop in all areas of ministry and leadership – from growing personally to building great teams, from stirring creativity to building strong Biblical foundations that will help build God’s House wherever they are planted.

This is not for the lazy or the faint-hearted. Do you want to impact your world for Christ? Do you want to be part of building an exciting and relevant 21st Century church where you live? If the answer is yes, then what are you waiting for? This is your moment of opportunity!

chris denhamDirector- The Leadership Academy

Forget stuffy unproven theories and boring unattainable formulas, The Leadership Academy is all about converting revelation into practical application. From day one our students find themselves going from the classroom to getting active both in their church and their community.

Dave GilpinPresident

From the outset, Great British Churches is not

about what you can do for it, but what it can

do for you. Sure - it’s an uniting together of like

minded and like hearted people to be a part of

a 21st century movement, but its entire focus is

to celebrate, strengthen and honour both the

leadership and the churches of the Great Brit-

ish Isles and beyond.

This is beyond a network and different from

a denomination. It’s a celebration of leaders, ideas,

operations, people and spirit. Our end game is to

see churches strengthened, churches multiplied and

church leaders arise for the greatest church era our

Nation has ever seen.

I’m not itching to create another denomina-

tional constitution and I’m not scratching to fill in some

unused blocks of time. I’m earnest in finding a route

that can both use the many network resources already

allocated across this Nation AND provide a place of real

championing, real celebration and real honour of all the

heroes of the faith who are currently forging a pathway

of salvation in their assigned neck of the proverbial

woods.

OUR SEASON.

OUR MOMENT.

WEARE

NATION.

I b e l i e v e

that this is our time. We

are positioned for a purpose and great

opportunity lies ahead of us.

Just like you I am passionate about the church of Jesus Christ in this country and this continent

rising up and being all that it can be. My heart is stirred to see churches and leaders breakthrough in

faith and release the incredible potential that is found in people all across this great land. That’s why I am so excited to

be a part of something that I believe will grow and develop to help serve our generation and build friendships and partnerships

across the UK and beyond.

My life has been enriched by the friends in ministry that I have made over the last few years. You and I need friends in ministry and leadership. Friends

with the same heart, the same passion and the same cause. GREAT BRITISH CHURCHES is the outworking of our heart to see the power of friendship and part-

nership come together to see more of the church become more of what it is destined to be. We may be different in our styles and the outworking of our own local vision, but when

we come together and stand shoulder to shoulder in building the church of Jesus Christ. We are stronger together. There is a synergy. A celebration. An honouring, that is both powerful and

inspiring and really encouraging!

We would be honoured if you would join us on this interesting and exciting journey.

The Church is built on the foundation of Apostles and Prophets. The Prophetic ministry has often been isolated and reduced to certain words given by certain people at certain times at certain weekly meetings.

The new Prophetic is bigger than that. It’s about culture, position, vision and a collision with the world around us. It’s about the look, the sound, the feel, the ambience, and the attitude of local churches that are serious about taking new ground. It’s about their facilities, their programmes, their social care, their community voice and their fervent prayer.

It’s about the river of prophecy that flows through every meeting and flows into every conversation and every occupation.

IT’S ABOUT EVERYONE. IT’S ABOUT YOU, THE LEADER. IT’S ABOUT US. TOGETHER. IN THE FLOW. THIS NEW PROPHETIC.

THIS NEW PROPHETIC
