NATURE OF WORK• Create visual concepts
by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas
• Combine art and technology to develop graphics
• Overall layout and production design for advertisements
• Help make an organization recognizable by selecting color, logo ,particular idea used in advertising and promotions
EDUCATION AND TRAININGUsually need a bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
Candidates for graphic design positions should demonstrate their creativity and originality through a professional portfolio that features their best designs.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY• Basic qualifications of a good graphic
designer include creativity, communications skills, and problem solving skills.
• Graphic design entails more than just your ability in Photoshop and art. While a good eye for color, form and detail is important to have, graphic design is a lot more than it seems
• English language-Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

designers is projected to grow 7 percent from 2012 to 2022, slower than the average for all occupations. Graphic designers are expected to face strong competition for available positions.
