Print, Design, GrowWas a design I came up with for Ego Id Media. Ego Id’s mantra is our business is growing your business. This design was used as a sign for the front of the busi-ness as well as for several web adds, and social media, in order to help plant the seed in potential customers heads that quality printing and design, are two cru-cial things that help grow your business.

Owner Chris Guaty, had de-veloped a logo concept, and decided on the colors to use in branding his company, but needed some professional help in creat-ing the finished Logo. After the Logo was completed, Chris hired me to Design Free-dom ride’s Web sight. I Worked closely with Chris to design every page. Sitenetic, came to me to create a Logo for there San Diego based software company. They focus on software development and web based solutions. Stite-netic’s goal for their logo is something modern, simple, clean and one color. They wanted me to add a symbol to convey kenetic energy. Below is a few different design proofs I created before marketing the final logo above. Along with the logo design I laid out business cards and other printed materials to help get there business off of the ground.

Then sketch our rough drafts of concepts, until eventually vectorizing those rough drafts in illustrator . Ian is an extremely talented young snow boarder who described his vision the signature snow board line. The Vitalire heart with Snow caps on the ventricles signifies Ian’s passion for snow.

Logo DesignI have designed many different versions of Ipanema’s Logo. Above is the Logo I created for Ipanema that is used as the company’s main logo. The image in the background of the IPANEMA text is a vector illustration I made to resemble the cobble stone streets in Ipanema Brazil, where this company was born.

The owner of Ipanema, Patricia Martin took a Trip to IPANEMA Brazil in 2014 to do photo shoot with girls from Ipanema. When she returned she contacted me to Go through the photos with her, to pic out ones we would use for Marketing materials, Trade shows, Web site, Line sheets and anything else that needed to be branded with beautiful women in Ip-anema bikini’s and clothing. After pricing out over 200 photos that we thought would be good to use, I then went to work on post production photo re touching . Photo re touching included removing stretch marks are unwanted lines color correction, skin smothing, teeth and eye whitening and anything else that Ipanema wanted in order to make the models look even better.

Ipanema’s animal ambasador is a brazilian parott. When Ipanema brought a parott to the photo shoot the talons on the models skin, along with the hair loss, and blood drawn from the beak created a problem. So I used photo shop to airbrush the model and move the parrott on to the shoulder of the model. below is the original picture, and to the left is the finished photoshopped picture.

Line Sheet DesignBy Alex Minch

Mexico

Page 25: Graphic Design Portfolio

When I first set out to design the Line sheet for Ipanema the goal was to have the entire bikini line be vector illustrations . Ipanema pro-vided me with a picture of every suite in there line and I began illustrating all of the suites, many of Ipanemas suits are the same cut, but come in different colors and patterns. After the illustrations of each suite were finished I then placed the suite on a body that I illustrat-ed. Now that the illustrations were created and on the bodies I then overlaid the pattern and create a clipping mask so that the patterns would fit to the inside of the suite. If the suite did not have a pattern then I used one of the PMS color ways in that line to fill in the suite.
