According to our Graebel Relocation APAC world headquarters office in Singapore, your household goods shipments are processed elsewhere, not near the explosion site. While knowing this may be good news, one should expect delays for all in-transit household goods shipments. Delays are anticipated in Qingdao, Changchun and Xuzhou for shipments routed through Xingang. In addition to this serious situation caused by the explosion, delays caused by traffic restrictions in Beijing are expected August 20 – September 6 during the 70th Anniversary of the end of WWII. We believe that these restrictions will affect slower household goods shipment transit times from Beijing to the port, as well as vehicle availability within the city.
