• There are different types of magnets:• Bar-maagnet
• U-shaped magnet

Poles of the magnet
• Any magnet is made up of two poles• The north pole (N)• The south pole (S)
Poles interactions
• Similar poles of different magnets will repel each other. (N-N and S-S)
• Opposite poles will attract each other. (N-S andS-N)
