INQUIRY 8

Inquiry 8 is a program where students take Humanities and Science year long. 1 block in first semester; 2 blocks in second semester

Course work is integrated Encourages creativity and inquiry based

learning.

There is room for approximately 60 students in Math 8 Honours every year.

Invitation to take Math 8 Honours will be based on: A selection test held at 3 pm on April 18

following the Grade 7 visit to Fraser Heights; Teacher recommendation; and Results on the Canadian Gauss Math contest.

Only for students in the Intensive French program at Erma Stephenson and Fraser Wood Elementary Schools.

Students in this program will choose “Enhanced French 8”.

You will need to choose 2 from the following list:

Explorations 8A (Home Economics & Technology) Explorations 8B (Art, Drama, Information Technology) Concert Choir Concert Band / Physical Education

Following our session today, our district staff will work with you to ensure that you can log in to your student portal on MyEd. And, you will also change your password.

You will need to access this account to do course selection now, and then obtain your schedules and report cards in the future.
