We can count on these people and their circles of influence to advocate for the work GraceWay does when the opportuni-ty arises. Everyone is invited to join this group. If your heart moves you to do so, please call 229-446-4550. They will be happy to discuss the opportunity with you and give you and your friends a tour of the residence if you’d like. We believe that anyone who comes to know what good work is going on here will want to help. Thank you for your faithful support this year. Please continue to pray for us as we pray for all of you in 2015. So, what is the Way?
What about ongoing recovery?
The Story of GraceWay GraceWay Recovery Residence founded in 2003, provides the setting,
encouragement and motivation to achieve a life of sobriety through spiritual
recovery. GraceWay offers women a “fresh start” and teaches recovery
tools utilizing the Twelve Step methodology of Alcoholics Anonymous in a
comprehensive long-term phased program.
Residents practice the spiritual principles underlying these 12 steps in a
highly-structured, truth-filled, home-like environment, staffed 24/7/365.
Addiction is a family disease. GraceWay’s family workshops and ongoing
communications greatly enhance the commitment to ongoing recovery for
the entire family.
Introducing “The Core”
New OUTPATIENT care
Located at 411 West Tift Ave. in Albany.
GraceWay “graduates” transition to Sober Living
Apartments – “The Way”, located right next door
to GraceWay. This safe affordable housing offers
recovering women increased independence and a
chance to refine life skills as they employ the tools of
addiction recovery in their lives.
Residents continue to focus on application of the
12-Steps to solve every day problems while practicing
personal responsibility and working and pursuing
ongoing education. Honesty (behavioral and emotional)
is the foundation of a durable long-term recovery.
When combined with openness to direction and
experience of others, and the willingness to follow
suggestions, a strong foundation for individual recovery
and a stronger recovery network is developed.

From GraceWay residents:
“If the living hell caused by my pill addiction problems have brought me to prayer, then they have served a purpose. A
blessing in disguise. Now I know that a divine solution is possible...and it is spiritual. It is real and it is lasting. It is my new
life in recovery.”
“I found my faith in God here at GraceWay. I am learning to humble myself and surrender my old ways. Now I ask God for
His help. Then, I do what He says. I trust in His power - my Higher Power. He can do what I couldn’t do for myself and
whatever I need Him to do and will help me do my part. I trust His wisdom - He knows what, when and how to do it and
He wants to share His amazing grace with me as I work my steps to a new life . . . One day at a time.”
