An innovative spring collection from the Bolia design team March sees the launch of the Bolia design team’s innovative SS19 collection. A collection that harmoniously fuses craftsmanship, sustainability and timeless design permeated with the Scandinavian design heritage. The style is clean, authentic and created from natural materials with Scandinavian references. The collection was developed by some of the world’s most talented designers, with the ambition of creating modern, functional classics and beautiful design icons for homes and public spaces all over the world. In recent years, Bolia has held its focus on creating long-lasting designs that can pass the world’s most comprehensive durability tests, ensuring that all designs can be enjoyed in homes and public spaces for many years to come. Bolia is therefore taking a big step into the sustainable present, where environmentally friendly materials and production methods, as well as each design’s durability, all play a crucial role. Pebble sofa Designed by Santiago Bautista The characteristic Pebble sofa saw the light of day for the first time in 2018, when Pebble and the designer Santiago Bautista won the Bolia Customer Design Award. The sofa’s exciting and asymmetric design plays with shapes and geometry, and Pebble can be combined with additional Pebble sofas, making it an attractive and multifunctional design – wherever you decide to use it. Pebble is manufactured to the highest standards and quality tested to ensure a long lifetime. Pebble is available in a wide variety of materials and colours. Graceful dining table Designed by Michael H. Nielsen ”Less is more”. The Danish designer, Michael H. Nielsen has created the dining table Graceful with elegant lines, handcrafted details and solid oak, to result in an elegant and timeless design classic The corner positioning of the table legs fully optimises the number of seated guests. Graceful is made from solid, FSC-certified oak using environmentally friendly production methods where all waste material is reused. Combo flowerpots Designed by Yonoh Estudio Combo isn’t an ordinary flowerpot. Its impactful design language and industrial finish are designed to invite touch. The design duo Yonoh Estudio has designed the pots in fibre concrete, which emphasises the raw appearance when Combo is adorned with green plants and flowers. Orb lamp serie Designed by Henrik Pedersen The luxurious lamp series Orb is now available with a black base, and as a new design Bolia is launching the Orb Solitaire, where the Orb’s luxurious design is reinterpreted in simple pendants in 3 sizes (Ø15, Ø20 and Ø25), which can be hung alone or together with others. Kimono chair Designed by Pascal Bosetti For modern Japanese people, the kimono is a symbol of thoughtfulness, grace and respect for tradition, which is exactly where designer Pascal Bosetti found the source of his inspiration. The similarities between the chair and the kimono are particularly evident in the seams on the seat, where the stitching emphasises the crossover section from the seat to the armrest, just like a traditional kimono, when a belt or obi is put on top. The Kimono chair is moulded and also padded with foam filling, which makes it very durable and comfortable at the same time.
