FOR THE 2020-2021 ACADEMIC YEAR ONLY(1) IF A STUDENT OBTAINS A LEVEL 3 IN THE SSC&P OR IN THE DQSE ACCREDITED GEM 16+ LEVEL 3 (AS AWARDED INJULY 2020) IN THE SIX REQUESTED SUBJECTS, HE/SHE WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO START THE ACADEMIC YEAR AS A REGULARSTUDENT.(2) IF A STUDENT OBTAINS AT LEAST ANY THREE OF THE SIX PASSES REQUIRED, OR THREE PASSES FROM THE SSC&P ATLEVEL 3, OR THREE DQSE GEM 16+ AWARDS AT LEVEL 3, OR THREE PREDICTED LEVELS FROM MATSEC FOR THE SECMAY 2020 SESSION AT SEC LEVEL 3, HE/SHE WILL BE ACCEPTED AS A PROBATIONARY STUDENT.
NB: Students who fail to obtain a grade 5/C (or SEC level 3) in either ONE of the above-mentioned requiredsubjects will still be accepted for the course. However, one must bear in mind that Ordinary level passes inMaltese, English and Mathematics would still be required when applying for a course at the University of Malta.

Advanced/Intermediate/Ordinary (AIO) Courses
Entry Requirements: Four subjects at SEC/O level at grade 5/C orbetter or at SEC level 3 (as awarded in July 2020)

Category A: Advanced/Intermediate course
Students taking this course must study a combination of a maximum of four subjects at Advancedor Intermediate level, with a minimum of one subject from each level. SOK can be chosen as anIntermediate subject, with a maximum of two Advanced level subjects.
Category B: Advanced/Intermediate/Ordinary course
A student may opt to study a maximum of three subjects at Advanced/Intermediate level, with aminimum of one Ordinary level. STRICTLY according to time table availability. The Advanced andIntermediate level subjects will be studied over a period of two years. The Ordinary revision levelsubjects will be studied over a period of one year.

Ordinary/Revision - MQF Level 1/2/3 Course
Entry Requirements: Students who have completed year 11 and are in possessionof a Secondary School-leaving Certificate Profile are eligible to enrol.

MQF level 4 in Proficiency (foreign languages): Students must be in possession of apass at MQF level 3 in the chosen subject.
For the 2020-2021 academic year only: students must be in possession of a pass atMQF level 3 (as awarded in July 2020), or one pass from the SSC&P at level 3, or oneDQSE GEM 16+ Award at level 3, or one predicted level from MATSEC for the SEC May2020 session in the chosen subject.
Part-time Study Course
Entry Requirements: Any four passes in the Secondary Education Certificate (SEC) atGrade 5 or better or at SEC Level 3 (as awarded in July 2020). For the 2020-2021 academic year only: if a student obtains at least any two of thefour passes required, or two passes from the SSC&P at level 3, or two DQSE GEM 16+Awards at level 3, or two predicted levels from MATSEC for the SEC May 2020 session atSEC level 3, he/she will be accepted as a probationary student.
