The DSSSB vide its advertisement No 03/2013 with closing date18.10.2013, had advertised 59 vacancies (UR-32, OBC-15, SC-08 & ST-04) forthe post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) in the pay scale of Rs 9300-34800 +Grade Pay Rs 4200/- + usual allowance in the Department of MCD under Postcode 68/2013. Board has conducted Tier-I written examination for recruitmentto this post on 31.05.2015.

The Tier II examination was held on 30.04.2017. On the basis of themarks scored by the candidates in Tier-Il examination and after preliminaryscrutiny as per the provisions of the statutory Recruitment Rules for the postand the terms and conditions of the advertisement, the following candidatesare provisionally selected to the post of Junior Engineer subject to theirfulfilling all other conditions of eligibility and also correctness of theinformation furnished by the candidates in their online application forms.

The selection of the above 49 candidates (UR-30, OBC-07, SC-08 & ST-04) shall be further subject to thorough verification of the candidature of thecandidates by the User Department. The candidature of the candidates isliable to be cancelled by the User Department, in case, candidate is found notfulfilling all the eligibility conditions of the Recruitment Rules for the posts orfor any other genuine reason. The decision of the User Department regardingthe eligibility of the candidate shall be final and binding on the candidate.

The candidates who have availed the benefit of the reservation at thetime of shortlisting of candidates on the basis of Tier I written examinationhave been considered for final appointment in their respective category only.

The User department shall also check the eligibility of the reservationbenefit, if any. Further, if applicable, User Department shall verify thegenuineness of the caste certificate furnished by the candidate prior to issuingoffer of appointment to the candidates. The Competent Authority of the UserDepartment shall arrange to verify the correctness of the information/documents as furnished in the application forms and e-dossier vis-a-vis theoriginal documents. Further, the appointing authority shall verify and satisfyitself about the authenticity of documents/certificates and essentialqualification regarding successful completion of training for the post beforefinally appointing the candidate.

In some cases the DaB of candidates mentioned in MMDDYYYYformatthe User Department is requested to consider the both format i.e. DDMMYYYY& MMDDYYYYas per the original of the candidate at the time originalverification.

Mere inclusion of the name of the candidate in the result notice does notconfer any right upon the candidate over the post unless the user departmentis satisfied after such inquiry as may be considered necessary that thecandidate is suitable in all respect for appointment to the post.

While every care has been taken in preparing the result, DSSSBreserves the right to rectify errors and omissions, if any detected at anystage.

This issues with the prior approval of the Competent Authority.
