Th ‘; k to bring to your kind information that Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ujwa, New Delhi is working as per mandate of ICAR under administrative control of National Horticultural Research & Development Foundation for effective transfer of agricultural technologies in NCT Delhi.

pL. sent Environment safety is a major concern of NCT Delhi especially for growing children and old age people. Since many years environment of NCT region is adversely affected by crop burning, during October- November apart from other factors. As you are aware that straw burning c : phenomenal pollution problem in the atmosphere and huge nutritional loss and physic:i! HI deterioration to the soil. In order to curb straw burning, in-situ crop residue manager:: ' :Toject is initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Govt. of India and same is implemented by KVK, Delhi by conducting awareness programme among school students al. :.-oin other components to curb air pollution of Delhi.

General Instructions

i. Language of event is either English or Hindi.

ii. Registration will be done on first come first serve basis.

iii. Each school is permitted to delegate only 1 team for each event and each group.

iv. In one team maximum 2 students for all events but for debate one student for motion

(Favour) and one for against.

v. Students must carry valid school identity card and should be in school uniform.

vi. Participants along with escorting teacher should report by 8:30 am on positively.

vii. Eligibility: - Student shall be studying in school in respective group i.e.

Group Class No. of students each team except debate A 6-8 2 B 9-10 2 viii. Mode of Registration:

• Filled form (as available on website — www.kvkdelhi.org or www.nhrdf.org)

duly signed by principal or authorized person with seal to be sent by e-mail

to kvkdelhicrm(uwahoo.com and hard copy of the same should be submitted

at registration counter on the event day(s).

• Please write the desired information of participants in capital letter on

registration form; otherwise, it will be cancelled.

• Please send only confirmed name(s) of the students who will be participating

in DEQ-2019

• Replacement or exchange of participant's name is not allowed at any case.

ix. Registration will not be considered after last date.

x. School will also be recognized based on the winner of events and participation.

xi. Each school is permitted to bring 1 companion (coach/ teacher/ instructor)

xii. If registration form is not signed by respective authority, the same is likely to be

rejected without any information.

xiii. Award/Prize will be handed over to the winners by the auspicious hands of the Chief

Guest during the mega event organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Delhi.

xiv. Last date of registration: 13' November, 2019 before 4:0(1 PM.
