City Level Analysis

• 99.6% of the city population in the city is served by grid based power, which includes 5% of power from renewable sources of energy

• 20 modules are implemented successfully in AMC using E-Governance.• 92% HHs are coverage of water supply connections with current NRW of

30%. • Sewerage collection is only 15% and coverage of storm water drainage

network is less than 50%• The incidences of sewerage mixing in the drains are more than 99% and

the incidences of water logging are more than 15%• The condition of the existing water bodies in the city is being

deteriorated due to siltation and inflow of sewerage, waste water, and solid waste into the lakes.

• The availability of public transport is only 40% and the availability of pedestrian facilities is only 2%. There is non-availability of non-motorized transport facilities and NMT parking facilities

• Total number of beds in healthcare facilities are 1380 which is very less• The city lacks information systems for tourists and currently possesses

substandard tourist infrastructure

3 City E- Governance • Develop integrated command and operation centers to enable better management of services, integration of operations across various departments leading to cost optimization.

• Introduce city performance dashboards to monitor the performance of city subsystems through digital technologies and big data analytics to manage city governance.

• Implement GIS based workforce and resource management solutions.• Introduce multi-channel citizen interfaces such as — mobile, web, online, phone, etc. for

services such as bill payment, tax payment, online certificates, grievance registration etc. Use digital media for communication with people (LED displays across the city with latest updates and information).
