NOTICE TO STAKEHOLDERS

AMENDMENT TO THE CUSTOMS TARIFF ACT STAKEHOLDERS ARE HEREBY INFORMED OF THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENT TO THE FIRST SCHEDULE TO THE CUSTOMS TARIFF ACT AS PER THE UNDERMENTIONED DOCUMENT (PART B) WHICH TAKES EFFECT AS FROM 01 JANUARY 2015. THE AMENDMENT TO THE FIRST SCHEDULE TO THE CUSTOMS TARIFF ACT AS PER THE UNDERMENTIONED DOCUMENT (PART B) IS IN LINE WITH THE COMMITMENT TAKEN REGARDING CUSTOMS TARIFF REDUCTION UNDER INTERIM ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT (IEPA) WITH EC AND FREE TRADE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY AND THE REPUBLIC OF MAURITIUS.

THE UNDERMENTIONED CPCS ARE APPLICABLE FOR IMPORTATION OF GOODS ORIGINATING FROM THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY (EUR) AND TURKEY (TMF). IT IS TO BE NOTED THAT THESE CPCS ARE MODIFIABLE AND IMPORTERS AND DECLARANTS SHOULD ENSURE THAT THE CORRECT RATE AND AMOUNT OF DUTIES AND TAXES ARE DECLARED.
